This was a fun little game!
(I'm glad Banya recommended it on social media, because I'm happy to have gotten to play The Tainted!)

I wish there was more, because the story was fascinating (plus it was left on such a cliffhanger 😔) and the shooting mechanics were pretty fun.
Plus your art is really nice. Both the character designs and the backgrounds look great.
You did a great job with the entire game, especially with completing it in such a short amount of time!

I'm not sure if you plan to expand on it (or make another similar game) but I definitely hope you continue to make more games in the future!

Hey! Thank you so much. It means a lot to me that you enjoyed my game.

I would love to fix the bugs a bit and continue it in the future, especially when the book I took the story from (my best friend's book, I made this game for them) gets translated and published in English too. Unfortunately I don't have a specific time frame in mind, but in the future it will most likely happen.

For now I'm focusing on another project, an exploration game made in RPG Maker MV (a game engine I'm far more familiar with than the one I used for Roland Project - The Tainted). If you're interested in seeing more from me, stay tuned! It's a little early to know exactly when it will be out, but I'm doing my best.

Thanks again for your video and your encouraging words!

Of course!

I look forward to seeing the the story continued in the future. I'll have to check out your friend's book when it gets translated, too! Even without a timeframe, I'm definitely excited at the prospect of more at some point ^-^

I love RPG Maker games. I'm following you on here now, so I look forward to getting the notification when that game goes up on your page eventually!

Keep up the good work 😄

Thank you so much!

Heyy pretty good for your first game in such little time ;o

Nice art and story/narrative system, looks pretty good in that regard, I think guys did pretty good keeping it interesting, could expand the story on other games!

I'm also participating in the same game jam, hope you check out the game we made!

Thank you for your feedback, I'm glad you liked it. I'm a little busy at the moment but as soon as I get some time I'll make sure to check out your game!

This game was definitely entertaining, I will say I am confused on how you would survive naturally without the bug I found (shown in the short) but overall, I seen it as something fun that will waste five minutes of your life so it's a win-win.

(Hope ya enjoy my little gameplay and hopefully ya subscribe ;P)

Thank you so much for the gameplay!

It was so much fun watching you play my game. I'm sorry about the bugs, but this was the very first game I ever made and I had to finish it quickly for a game jam. I have no more time to work on it at the moment but in the future I will probably try to make it better! I tested the game a lot myself and it is possible to win without using the bug, but it takes a little bit of practice and strategy.

I'm glad you liked it and you had fun playing it♡

Thank you for the reply, I did not mind the bugs for I was able to make a whole minigun which made me laugh, I wish you the best with your future creations and with what I saw from this game, you definitely have potential, just gotta put in the time and effort needed and continue to grow with the experience you gain.
